HISTORY

Founded in 1972 in Biella, in the heart of the Italian textile district, Pantex S.p.A. derives its name from the Greek roots “pan” (all) and ”tex” (textile), reflecting its vocation for a complete and integrated vision in the world of wool textiles. Our history has roots in the early 1900s, from the synergy of various consolidated experiences gained in scouring, carbonizing, combing, and the recovery, sorting, garnetting, and reuse of textile by-products from wool combing, spinning, and weaving. In 1983, we moved to the spacious facilities in Mongrando, where we centralized the activities of beating, fiber opening, blending, cutting, and fiber sorting, optimizing production processes and ensuring even more rigorous quality control. Starting in 1985, we expanded our offerings, adding to the by-products a complete production of tops, open tops, scoured wool, and carbonized wool, available in all fineness ranges. This has allowed us to offer an efficient and timely stock service, meeting the needs of Italian and European customers. Since 1977, we have been proud members of the Italian Wool Trade Association a recognition of our commitment and expertise in the sector.
